The Paying Forward Foundation is an Ohio corporation organized to be operated exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation provides funding for various educational and public health and safety initiatives. The critical shortage of nurses in the health care industry is causing some patients to receive substandard care. As a result we are currently focusing our efforts on establishing scholarship funds for nursing and nurse practitioner students at various colleges and universities. A nurse practitioner scholarship has already been established at one of the premier graduate nursing programs in the country, The Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University. We are continuing our efforts so that additional scholarships can be established at other nursing schools. The President of the Foundation pays all administrative costs of the Foundation.
